Created in collaboration with Chinese artist Jinya Zhao. the Uzlo sculpture is made by layering different pieces. creating an interplay between the radiance of glass and the opacity of leather.ebr>Blown into custom molds. the glass pieces are mixed with pigment and then meticulously hand-polished with diamond tools to achieve a frosted appearance. Polene’s leather goods artisans cover the wooden pieces with leather before stitching the seams and painting the edges.
Limited edition of 150 pieces. Each piece comes with a numbered print of one of the artist’s watercolors.
